Oppo R5s with 5.2-inch 1080p display, 3GB RAM, 4.85mm slim body announced

Oppo has introduced Oppo R5s, an upgraded version of last year’s Oppo R5 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, compared to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It has the same 4.85mm thin body, stainless steel micro-arc frame and still requires an USB-to-3.5mm audio adapter. Other specifications include, 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED screen, Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Color OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 (KitKat), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. LG G Pad II 10.1 with WUXGA display, Snapdragon 800 SoC, 4G LTE announced

LG has announced LG G Pad II 10.1, the company’s latest Android tablet and the successor of last year’s G Pad 10.1 ahead of IFA 2015. It has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200) WUXGA display and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop). LG has decided to go with the old Snapdragon 800 SoC for the tablet. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes in both WiFi and 4G variants. Apple launches global iPhone 6 Plus camera replacement program due to blurry photos in some units

Apple has found that a small percentage of iPhone 6 Plus units that were sold between September 2014 and January 2015 have a manufacturing defect in the rear iSight camera causing blurry images. It has launched a replacement program that would let users with the defect to replace the camera unit. According to 9to5Mac, Apple will only replace the iSight camera component within the iPhone 6 Plus and not hand out new replacement phones.

Acer’s Predator 8 Gaming Tablet rumored to have entered production

Xiaomi Mi 4i variant with Snapdragon 808 shows up on AnTuTu benchmark

Xiaomi smartphone codenamed Libra with 1.44GHz Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 (MSM8992) SoC and Android 5.1.1 surfaced last month on Geekbench. There was even a rumor that Xiaomi might release a Mi 4i variant with a Snapdragon 808 SoC, now the same Mi 4i variant codenamed Mi-4c has surfaced on AnTuTu benchmark.
