Uber increases fares in India due to service tax changes
Uber has announced increase in fares across all its services that includes, uberBlack, uberX and its cheapest uberGO across India. This price hike is due to service tax implemented by Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley in the recent Union Budget for web based software application and a communication device allowing customer to connect with persons providing service of a particular kind under the brand name or trade name. Service tax will be levied on the total fare and not just the commission being earned by the aggregators for every ride, he had said in the budget. The Sony XPERIA Z4 was announced quietly earlier today in Japan without much hype or media buzz. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Refurbished and Unboxed units to go on sale on April 27th starting from Rs. 7999
Xiaomi recently partnered with GreenDust and Overcart to sell refurbished and unboxed Redmi 1S smartphones. Unboxed Redmi 1S units went on sale last week on Overcart. Today Overcart has announced that it is bringing the Redmi Note 4G smartphone next week. Refurbished and Unboxed Redmi Note 4G units will be available for Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 8,499, respectively. The devices will be covered under a six-month manufacturer warranty from Xiaomi, says the company.
