The Mi 4c has a similar unibody design as the Mi 4i and even has a similar 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS fully laminated 441 PPI display that was launched in India back in April. But this has a more powerful Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 64-bit processor with Adreno 418 GPU. It comes in two variants, one with 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage and the other version has 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. It doesn’t have an expansion slot like the Mi 4i. We have the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage variant. It runs on Android Lollipop-based MIUI 7 on top. There is a 5-megapixel camera on the front with 85-degree wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and it supports 1080p video recording.

It has a 13-megapixel camera on the back with Sony IMX258 or Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensor, 5P lenses, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, dual-tone LED flash and 1080p video recording at 30fps. It has dual SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity and even becomes the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature USB Type-C slot. It packs a 3080mAh built-in battery and has Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support.

It is priced at 1299 Yuan ( US$ 204 / Rs. 13,370 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and 1499 Yuan ( US$ 235 / Rs. 15,445 approx.) for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version in China. Xiaomi already said that it doesn’t have any plans to launch the smartphone outside China.
