Contrast to the market speculations; Apple is said to be to be using the same 6P lens design even for the 2018 iPhone models according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. LG V30 Android 8.0 Oreo update rolling out through preview program in Korea

LG introduced the V30 smartphone at the IFA in August running Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) and it already promised to offer Oreo update for the phone. Now LG has started rolling out Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for the V30 users in South Korea through LG OS Preview program. It is available for all the carriers.

Apple reports $52.6 billion revenue in FY Q4 2017, India revenue doubles YoY

Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $52.6 billion, up 12% over last year with a net profit of $10.7 billion in their earnings for the financial year Q3 2017 that ended September 30, 2017. Revenues were up 7% year-over-year. Apple reported quarterly earnings per diluted share of $2.07, up 24% from a year ago. During earnings call Tim Cook said that Apple generated revenue growth across all of our product categories and showed all-time record results for its Services business. Earlier today Xiaomi officially announced MIUI 9 Global ROM along with Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite in an event in India. The company announced that MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM will start hitting Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4 starting tomorrow. A few days ago, we reported that company started testing MIUI 9 Stable Nightly update for Mi Max 2, and this evening Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 9 Global Stable update to Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm variant). OPPO today announced the R11s and R11s Plus smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. The R11s has a 6.01-inch FHD+ full-screen AMOLED screen, 85.8% screen-to-body ratio and the R11s Plus has a slightly larger 6.43-inch FHD+ full-screen AMOLED screen with 85.95% screen-to-body ratio. Both the phones are powered by Snapdragon 660, come with a 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear cameras with f/1.7 aperture.
