Samsung has reportedly decided to stop including a 3D ToF sensor in their Galaxy S smartphone series, starting with the Galaxy S22 next year, according to a new report. The company made the decision to remove the sensor after they realised that the sensor was underutilized and did not spur the development for applications that took advantage of it.

realme today confirmed the launch of realme Q3 series of smartphones in China on April 22nd. realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase also posted an image of the back of the phone that shows a glowing “Dare to Leap” logo. He added that for the first time the company has used luminous materials with fluorescent colors. After fully absorbing sunlight, the words “Dare To Leap” on the back cover of the mobile phone will show a fluorescent effect like a firefly in the dark. OnePlus rolled out OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 to OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro last month. Soon after the roll-out it temporarily paused the update since some users reported bugs. Indian brand boAt popular for its personal audio products today announced that it has raised funding from Qualcomm Ventures, the investment arm of Qualcomm Incorporated. The exact amount of investment has not been disclosed, but the reports say that it is about 50 crores ($6.7 million approx.). After rumours, realme today officially confirmed the launch of realme 8 5G, the company’s new 5G smartphone and India’s first phone powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC on April 22nd. The phone will be sold on Flipkart, in addition to realme.com and offline stores.
