Samsung just introduced the Galaxy A52, A52 5G and A72 smartphones in a global Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event, as it had promised. The Galaxy A52 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 90Hz refresh rate while the A52 5G gets a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The Galaxy A72 comes with a slightly larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O 90Hz Display. These come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 32MP front camera inside the small punch-hole. We had already seen the CAD renders, press renders and the phone got certified by TENAA in China recently, now there is a new report that says that the phone will come with 120Hz refresh rate, similar to most Samsung flagships. The report adds that the 4G version of the Galaxy A52 and the Galaxy A72 will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display for the first time in a Samsung phone. After CAD renders and press renders, the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G (SM-A5260) has been certified by TENAA in China revealing some specifications of the phone including a 6.46-inch display which should be a FHD+ AMOLED screen with support for an in-display fingerprint scanner, 4500mAh battery, Android 11 and the dimensions of the phone. After the CAD renders of the Galaxy A52 5G and Galaxy A72 5G last month, now the press renders of the smartphones have surfaced, thanks to @evleaks. This shows a punch-hole display for both the smartphones and a rectangular rear camera housing with a quad camera setup in the Galaxy A52 5G. Based on earlier renders the Galaxy A72 5G is also expected to feature a similar quad camera setup but the position of the fourth camera and the LED flash are expected to be interchanged.
