Redmi Note 8 Series sales cross 30 million units globally

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced  Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro smartphones in China back in August, and the phones were launched in India in October. Today the company has announced that the combined sales of Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro have hit 30 million or 3 crore units globally in 8 months. Zoom update brings option to disable PMI and better security defaults for basic accounts

MediaTek Helio G85 Octa-Core SoC with 1GHz Mali-G52 MC2 GPU officially announced

MediaTek has officially announced Helio G85 in the ‘G series’, which is an enhanced version of the G80 series which was announced back in February. It is targeted at mid-range gaming smartphones and features MediaTek’s HyperEngine game technology to boost the mobile gaming experience. It packs dual ARM Cortex-A75 and hexa Cortex-A55 CPUs with the ARM Mali — G52 2EEMC2 with speeds of up to 1GHz and is based on 12nm TSMC FinFET technology. Microsoft confirms Windows 10X is coming to single screen devices

Apple and Google will ban location tracking in COVID-19 exposure notification apps
