Xolo launched its Era 2X budget 4G smartphone in the Era series with 4G VoLTE support earlier this year. Now it has received a price cut. The Xolo Era 2X 2GB RAM version that was launched for Rs. 6666 has received a Rs. 444 price cut and is available for Rs. 6222, while the 3GB RAM version that was launched for Rs. 7499 now costs Rs. 6777 after receiving a price cut of Rs. 722. LG G6 global roll out begins this week, available in the U.S. from April 7, coming to Asia, Europe and more regions soon

LG introduced its flagship G6 smartphone at its MWC 2017 event in Barcelona back in February. The company started taking pre-orders for the smartphone across several U.S. carriers last month, today it has announced that it will roll out globally starting from week, starting from the U.S. tomorrow, April 7th through 11 North American mobile carriers including Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile and US Cellular. Google Play Music went live in India back in September last year to upload songs from your library and purchase songs separately, but it did not launch All Access at that time. Google Play Music All Access also called Subscription has finally gone live in India today. This offers free unlimited streaming and downloads of millions of songs, personalized recommendations without ads, unlimited skips and choice of songs, albums, and playlists. After several rumors, Xiaomi has announced Mi Pad 3, successor of Mi Pad 2 that was introduced back in 2015. It has the same 7.9-inch (2048 × 1536 pixels) display at 326 ppi as the first two Mi Pad tablets, but the Intel processor has been replaced by MediaTek MT8176 hexa-core processor. It has the same 6.95mm slim unibody metal design as the predecessor and also has an improved 13-megapixel rear camera. Huawei has introduced Y5 2017, the company’s latest budget smartphone with 4G LTE support in its ‘Y series’. It packs a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor with 2GB of RAM, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED fash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that also has LED flash. Alcatel has announced Flash, a new smartphone with four cameras, two on the front and two on the back. It has dual 13-megapixel rear cameras, one with monochrome and the other one with RGB lens to capture crisp images as well as background blur.  It also has phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) for quick focus in 0.15 seconds and dual-tone LED flash. There is also a 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel front-facing cameras along with dual-tone LED flash that lets you choose different blur levels with Super Selfie Mode. Casio smartwatches will use Microsoft’s technology with new patent licensing deal

Microsoft had signed a multiyear patent cross-licensing agreement with Casio to use Linux in certain Casio devices, back in 2011. Now it has signed a new deal with the company to share its wearable patents. “The patent licensing agreement includes broad coverage for smartwatch technologies, ” said Microsoft without giving any other details. Even though Google recently released Android O Developer Preview, it is still not over offering Android Nougat updates. Google has started rolling out Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) update for several Nexus and Pixel devices, as expected. Android 7.1.2 beta was released back in January, and as Google had announced earlier, Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 is not getting this update. The update brings several bug fixes, new features, and general performance/stability improvements.
