MediaTek Dimensity 720 7nm Octa-Core SoC with built-in 5G, support for up to 90Hz displays announced

MediaTek just announced Dimensity 720, the company’s latest mid-range SoC with built-in 5G in the new Dimensity 700 series. It has two Cortex-A76 cores operating up to 2GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores operating at up to 2.0GHz. The MediaTek 5G UltraSave technology uses both network and content awareness intelligence to manage the modem’s operating mode in real-time to extend battery life. HONOR 9A with 6.3-inch FullView display, triple rear cameras, 5000mAh battery and HONOR 9S launching in India on July 31

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand has confirmed the launch of HONOR 9A smartphone in India on July 31st on Amazon.in. It was introduced for global markets last month and packs a 6.3-inch 20:9 HD+ screen, is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, packs triple rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint and a 5000mAh battery. Nokia TA-1258 with 5.99-inch HD+ display, 3GB RAM, Android 10 gets certified

HMD Global is all set to announce a budget Android smartphone soon, and it has been certified by TENAA in China with the model number TA-1258. This reveals a 5.99-inch HD+ screen, runs Android 10, an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel rear camera. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G with 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex Display, Snapdragon 865+ announced

Samsung today announced Z Flip 5G, successor of the Z Flip, after it got certified recently. It has almost similar specifications, but replaces Snapdragon 865 with 865 Plus 5G Mobile Platform for 10% better performance and has 5G Non-Standalone(NSA), 5G Standalone(SA), Sub6 support paired with Snapdragon X55 5G modem. ASUS ROG Phone 3 with 6.59-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865+ 5G, 6000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 49999

ASUS just launch the ROG Phone 3, the company’s latest gaming smartphone in India, as it had promised. It packs a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, 270Hz touch-sampling rate, 25ms touch latency, is one of the first phones to be powered by Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC with up to 12GB (16GB in global market) of RAM. It has redesigned Copper 3D vapor chamber, larger graphite film that dissipates the heat even faster with the assistance of a heat sink that is 6X larger than the one used in ROG Phone II. Lenovo Legion Phone Duel with 6.65-inch FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 865+, up to 16GB RAM, 5000mAh battery, 90W charging announced

Lenovo just announced Legion Phone Duel, the company’s first gaming phone under the Legion brand in China, as it had promised. It packs a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate and is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 865+ Mobile Platform with up to 16GB of RAM. LG VELVET with 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display, Snapdragon 765 5G starts rolling out in the US

LG unveiled its LG VELVET smartphone back in May in an online event and it started rolling out in South Korea from May 15th. Now it has announced the roll out of the phone in the US at $599 (Rs. 44,660 approx.) from AT&T beginning today, July 22. It will be available from T-Mobile and Verizon later this summer.  LG VELVET 5G UW with access to its 5G Ultra Wideband network and 5G low-band network will be available from Verizon later this year. Netflix starts testing Mobile + computer HD plan in India at Rs. 349

Netflix has started testing new Mobile+ HD plan in India at Rs. 349 per month that lets users watch on any phone, tablet or computer, but you can’t watch it on TV.
