Apple may be on track to increase India’s local manufacturing revenue to nearly $40 billion over the next 5 years, as a result of the Government of India’s Production Linked Incentive scheme (PLI) for large scale electronics manufacturing. The scheme will be largely availed by two of Apple’s contract manufacturers, namely Winstron and Foxconn.
Microsoft went live yesterday on YouTube, Mixer and Twitch to reveal 13 new titles that will be released for the Xbox Series X. With the pandemic also causing nearly every conference to be postponed, Microsoft is planning to build hype for their upcoming Xbox Series X console via many live streams until its launch date.

Being the only one among the top 3 to record a positive growth for the first quarter of 2020, the Indian smartphone market shipped 32.4 million units overall. This calculates to a growth of 1.5% YoY, whereas the Chinese and US markets saw a decline of 20.3% YoY and 16.0% YoY respectively.
