Motorola Moto G Dual SIM Unboxing in India, with Google Glass

The dual SIM Motorola Moto G has taken over India ever since it was officially launched here. It was sold out in less than an hour, and a lot of buyers were left frustrated with delays, but it still has quickly become the most popular mid range phone in the market. We had ordered the 16 GB Moto G immediately after the Flipkart pages went up, and got it delivered soon. So, here’s our unboxing of the device, with a small twist. LG G Flex Scratch and Flexibility Test

LG launched the G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved display in India earlier this week. We brought you the unboxing and the Benchmarks of the device earlier today. It has a unique back cover with self-healing technology since it is coated with a special material so that scratches can be removed within minutes. We made a video about the feature recently. LG G Flex Unboxing in India

LG G Flex, the pioneering flexible phone with a curved screen, was officially launched in India yesterday. This is out and out a technological showcase product from LG, with innovations like a flexible display, body and battery brought to the table. It also features all the high end features that one would expect from a flagship device, but is also a phablet with a 6″ screen. Basically, this is the pinnacle of LG’s engineering prowess, which might actually end up setting the precedent for a whole lot of devices in the future. The Indian variant we have here, is priced at a sky high Rs.69,999/- which is unattainable for most. Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini A200 Unboxing and First Impressions

Among many other trends, Samsung also started this “mini” variant trend, of its single flagship device in its portfolio. The idea was to offer a small screened version of the much loved flagship, at a lesser price that everyone can afford. This trend was followed by HTC with their One mini and even Sony, with their Z1 compact, which is possibly the best implementation without compromises till date. In that line of “mini” devices, we now have our own Micromax with their “mini” version of the popular flagship – Canvas Turbo. Appropriately named the Micromax Canvas Turbo mini A200, the phone takes its screen size and the specs a notch down, to compete with devices in a different price segment. Lava Iris Pro 30 Unboxing

Lava launched its latest flagship device, the Iris Pro 30 in India at a launch event on January 17th. It was announced for a price of Rs. 15,999 and the company prided itself on having designed the product in-house, in India. Made of quality materials like magnesium alloy, the phone comes in at just 7.5mm thickness and 114g of weight, a far cry from hefty phones we have been seeing in this price range. Nokia Lumia 525 Camera Samples

The Nokia Lumia 525, a newly launched device that we unboxed recently, has been known to be a slightly upgraded variant of the Lumia 520. It carries almost exactly the same spec sheet and hardware except for the RAM, which has been upped to 1 GB for obvious reasons. With an incredibly small change in hardware, one would expect everything else to remain the same. But that is not the case with the 525, because it comes with Lumia Black firmware update out of the box, which brings some algorithm-level changes to the already robust camera interface, the Nokia Camera. So, does this change the 520/5’s camera performance in any way? Lets find out from some of our camera samples.

Nokia Lumia 1320 Unboxing

The Nokia Lumia 1320 is part of the two new phablets announced by the Finnish company some time back. Announced alongside the 1520, the device follows the large screen trend and brings a massive 6 inch display to the table. Under the hood you find a 1.7 Ghz Dual Core Snapdragon 400 processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. A 5MP camera is located at the back of the phone while a 0.3MP shooter can be seen up front. The 6 inch display has a resolution of 1280 x 720 and has a Gorilla Glass 3 coating on top. Owing to the large display, an additional column of tiles can be pinned on the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos was the first device from the Korean chaebol to land its foot it in the highly competitive mid range phablet market. It was a big success, at least in the Indian market, but now we have its successor, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. With an upgraded spec sheet that includes a better display, better processor and the Note 3-esque faux leather back cover, the Grand 2 has caught our fancy, especially at the price of Rs. 22,999.
