Samsung Russia has announced that it’s entire line of Galaxy products are getting the Gingerbread update. While many phones have already got the update , the company has promised that it’s bringing the gingerbread update to the Galaxy Tab 3G and WiFi models and also the Galaxy SL i9003. The Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 will not get Gingerbread love but only Froyo !

Motorola India has officially announced that the Indian Motorola Xoom owners will get Android 3.1 Over the Air (OTA) update on 29th July 2011. Google Maps for Android has been updated to version 5.8.0 that brings new features like photo uploading for places, My Places to access starred and recent Place quickly and add new places to check-in. ASUS recently tweeted that, the Android 3.2 update for this tablet will be rolled out from tomorrow. This update expected to come with compatability zoom for phone apps, support for microSD loading and other tablet-based optimizations.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the company’s most popular Android smartphone. It was originally launched with the Android 1.6 (Donut) Operating system, later it was updated to Android 2.1 (Eclair).
