Since then the two companies have parted ways and that resulted in the OnePlus 2 being powered by the home-brewn Oxygen OS. Now, it seems that the OnePlus 2 could be receiving the official CyanogenMod OS very soon.

Marshmallow update rolling out to LG G4 in some parts of Europe

The LG G4 is one of the first Android smartphones outside the Nexus and Android One family to receive the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The roll out began in the later half of October with G4s in Poland getting the update first. Now, the update is apparently hitting the G4 across parts of Europe.

Microsoft Cortana for iOS now rolling out for beta testers

Microsoft started sign-ups for public beta of Cortana for iOS earlier this month, now the company has started rolling out the app via Apple’s TestFlight for the users, which is limited to 2,000 testers per application. The original survey indicated that Cortana for iOS would be available in the U.S. and China, so beta testing is currently limited. Today it has launched local and STD calling in India that lets you call any landline or mobile in the country at a flat rate of 19 p/min, without any additional charges like roaming or top-up cards. “Unlike other VOIP apps in the market, Ringo uses telephone networks instead of phone data or the Internet for a phone call, and thus offers superior calling experience, without any call drops,” said the company.
