Microsoft Cortana for iOS now rolling out for beta testers

Microsoft Cortana for iOS

Microsoft started sign-ups for public beta of Cortana for iOS earlier this month, now the company has started rolling out the app via Apple’s TestFlight for the users, which is limited to 2,000 testers per application. The original survey indicated that Cortana for iOS would be available in the U.S. and China, so beta testing is currently limited. Microsoft released public beta of Cortana for Android back in August.

Similar to Google Now, Cortana offers to do daily tasks like sending emails, scheduling events, keep track of your schedule, delivering reminders when you need them and so on. It must be noted that the iOS version of Cortana will not boast of all the features, but Microsoft said it plans to frequently update the app with new features and functionality over the coming months.

Since Cortana for iOS is still in early beta stages, it might take few months for Microsoft to release the final beta version to all the users.
