A lucky Samsung Galaxy Note5 user receives update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Just yesterday, we reported the leaked roadmap for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade path for Samsung phones. In the roadmap, the Galaxy Note5 along with the S6 edge+ was scheduled to receive an update to Marshmallow in December 2015. However, one lucky user has apparently already received the update to Marshmallow on his T-Mobile Note5.

Back in 2012 there were rumors about Facebook working on Snapchat-like app for sending self-destructible timed messages, but it didn’t happen. Last year BlackBerry launched Timed messages feature for BBM that lets users set the time the message should be displayed to other users before it disappears. According to Buzzfeed, Facebook is testing a similar feature for the Facebook Messenger to give an option for the users to have their messages disappear one hour after sending them. Ola Money app released, offers money transfer, bill payments, mobile recharge and more

Ola recently released Ola Money App for Android that lets you make prepaid mobile recharges and pay your postpaid bills with just one click. It also offers deals on merchants who have partnered with OLA. With the app it aims to compete with the likes of Paytm, FreeCharge and others. OLA Money is used for payments across all of Ola’s services such as taxis, auto rickshaws, food delivery venture (Ola Café) and grocery delivery service Ola Store. Periscope for Android got updated to version 1.3 earlier this week that brought a revamped Global Map feature and option to seek through a replay, now these features are available for iOS users as well in the latest update released today. In Global Map you can now zoom into an area to view more broadcasts, compared to 250 broadcasts earlier, and it also shows replays in the last 24 hours.
