vivo already confirmed that its upcoming flagship Xplay5 smartphone will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and pack whopping 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It also confirmed dual curved displays for the smartphone. Now a new leak from China (Via) reveals that it will come with a 5.43-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, come with 128GB of internal storage, feature Cirrus Logic CS4398 DAC and a 3600mAh battery.
After showing up on Zauba and GFXBench, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has surfaced on AnTuTu, revealing the specifications. This coincides with earlier rumors, but it doesn’t confirm if the upcoming top-end ‘A series’ smartphone will come with 6-inch screen like the A9 or a smaller 5.5-inch screen. OPPO today teased its upcoming R9 camera-focused smartphone. Even though OPPO did not reveal the announcement date, it just said that the event will be scheduled in the Spring, which starts in March. The teaser hints at a sleek metal body and SIM slot on the right side of the phone. OPPO unveiled the R7 and R7 Plus smartphones back in May last year. OnePlus will finally launch its flagship OnePlus 3 smartphone, successor of the current OnePlus 2 by the end of Q2 2016, which is probably late May or June, according to CNET. In an interview with the CNET en Español, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei said that the upcoming flagship will feature a ‘new design,’ and he hopes it will ‘captivate’ users as much as the OnePlus One, but he did not reveal any specifications. Sony will introduce a new smartphone, codenamed Xperia PP10 and a smart Bluetooth headset dubbed Smart Ear at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona next week. According the leaked image from @evleaks, the Xperia smartphone will have a curved design, a large power button, similar to Xperia Z5 smartphones and a dedicated camera shutter button, below the volume rockers. Earlier this month there were rumors about HTC releasing Desire 500 series (codenamed A16) and Desire 800 series (codenamed A56) smartphones at the MWC next week, ahead of the launch of M10 in April. Now @evleaks has posted a press images of the Desire 500 series smartphone, which could be the Desire 530. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge smartphones at an event tomorrow. Now the specifications of the smartphone have been detailed in a Samsung Pay promotional poster from a Spanish bank La Caixa. Sammobile who got hold of this poster, also reveals that both the smartphones will come with a 12MP rear camera with 1/2.5-inch sensor, at least 1.4-microns, 8-megapixel front-facing camera and powerful 1.5W loudspeaker.
