Asus introduced the Pegasus X002 smartphone back in December last year, later it introduced Pegasus X003 and also unveiled the Pegasus 2 Plus X550 smartphone back in July. Now the Pegasus X005 has been certified by TENAA in China. It has a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, similar to the Pegasus 2 Plus, but this is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core processor (MediaTek MT6753 likely). Now, another one is suggesting that Lenovo will also release a new phone that will also be powered by the Exynos 8870 processor which is a cheaper variant of its Exynos 8 Octa 8890 14nm processor with custom CPU cores and Mali–T880 MP12 GPU.

Samsung is rumored to be working on Exynos 8870, a cheaper variant of its Exynos 8 Octa 8890 14nm processor with custom CPU cores and Mali–T880 MP12 GPU. According a weibo user this processor will use the same custom designed CPU cores based on 64-bit ARMv8 architecture, but the maximum clock speed will be slightly reduced compared to the 8890. Samsung Galaxy J1 2016 (SM-J120F), successor of the Galaxy J1 has surfaced in live images (via). Most of the specifications of the smartphone were revealed in GFXBench listing recently. Now live images reveal the Galaxy J1 (2016) name in the boot logo, Samsung’s signature home button below the display along with capacitive touch buttons on both the sides, removable battery, dual SIM slots and the model number. Xiaomi introduced Redmi Note 3, the company’s latest ‘Redmi Note’ series smartphone with a metal body recently. Now a new Xiaomi smartphone with similar unibody metal build has been certified by TENAA (Via) in China. The design is similar to Redmi Note 3, but this doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor on the back. This could be the Redmi 3 that surfaced on Geekbench recently, revealing the Snapdragon 617 processor and 2GB of RAM. Earlier this month there was a rumor that Samsung might be working on the Galaxy S7 Plus, S7 Edge and S7 Edge Plus smartphones, in addition to its Galaxy S7flagship smartphone. Now images of the cases for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus have surfaced, giving us a hint of the design of these smartphones. Google is working on a new messaging service to take on Facebook’s digital assistant ‘M’, according to a report from the WSJ. This may be incorporated in its chatbot technology that answers questions inside a messaging app, says the report. This will let users switch between texting a friend and asking a chatbot for suggestion for a place to eat, by searching the web and other sources, in the same thread.
