Samsung just announced Galaxy C5, the company’s latest smartphone in the new ‘C Series’ in China. It has a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 SoC and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) with Samsung’s own UI on top. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the home button. Samsung Galaxy C5 with 5.2-inch 1080p display, 4GB RAM, slim metal body gets certified

Samsung is all set to introduce its Galaxy C series smartphones at an event in China on May 26th. Today the smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China that confirms 6.7mm slim metal body.  The phone has a large 16-megapixel camera sensor that clearly shows the protruded part.

Samsung Galaxy C5 SM-C5000 with 1080p display, 4GB RAM, 16MP camera surfaces in benchmarks

Samsung Galaxy Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000) surfaced on AnTuTu yesterday that detailed most of the specifications of the phone. Now the C5 (SM-C5000) has surfaced in GFXBench that reveals most of the specifications that are almost similar to the Galaxy C7. This comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC and packs 4GB of RAM as revealed in the Geekbench listing.
