Last month XDA findings revealed that Redmi K30 Pro might launch under POCO branding in India and everyone assumed it to be long-awaited POCO F2. Later POCO GM, C Manmohan confirmed that POCO F2 is a different smartphone from Redmi K30 Pro in India. Now Google Play’s list of supported devices reveals that the Redmi K30 Pro and upcoming POCO F2 Pro share the same “lmi” code name. It also reveals that Redmi K30 Pro 5G Zoom Edition will be launched under K30 Pro name in the global markets and it also has codename “Imiinpro” hinting that Redmi K30 Pro series is expected to launch in India. Update: April 17, 2020 – realme has started asking for feedback for display on its upcoming product in Rs. 20000 to Rs. 30000 segment powered by Snapdragon 8 series SoC (should be Snapdragon 855+ as rumored earlier). Users have to choose between OLED 60Hz or LCD 120Hz. The company is currently using 90Hz LCD and 60HZ OLED displays on its phones. OPPO is all set to introduce A92s, the company’s upcoming mid-range 5G phone in China, as it has been certified by TENAA. It reveals a 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD screen, which is said to come with 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole screen houses a 16MP camera as well as a 2MP depth sensor, 2GHz Octa-Core SoC, which according to Geekbench is MediaTek Dimensity 800 7nm SoC that was introduced earlier this year, but this is contradictory since the chip only supports up to 90Hz refresh rate, according to the official site. While Apple is preparing to launch its successor to the iPhone SE shortly, work on Apple’s high-end iPhones are still ongoing.
