Samsung has expanded its Galaxy Book6 lineup with a new 14-inch Galaxy Book6 designed for everyday computing.
The Galaxy Book6 measures 15.7mm in thickness and weighs 1.35kg. It features a 16:10 display with anti-reflective technology, providing additional vertical space for documents, web pages, and multitasking while reducing glare. The laptop follows the Galaxy Book6 design with clean lines, a symmetrical profile, and a centered logo.
It is powered by Intel Core Series 3 processors, with Core 3 and Core 5 options. The processor supports Galaxy AI and other AI features. The laptop offers up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge and supports 45W fast charging, which can provide approximately 33% charge in 30 minutes.
Galaxy AI and connected features
The Galaxy Book6 includes AI Select, which lets users select content directly on the screen and access related information and insights. AI Cut Out can remove backgrounds from images, while Note Assist summarizes notes and highlights key information.
Samsung also includes features for connecting the laptop with compatible Galaxy devices:
- Quick Share enables file sharing between compatible Galaxy devices.
- Storage Share lets users access photos, videos, and files across compatible Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Book devices without transferring them first.
- Multi Control allows a single keyboard and mouse to control multiple supported Galaxy devices.
- Second Screen lets users use a compatible Galaxy Tab as an additional display.
- Nearby Devices simplifies device discovery and connection.
- Link to Windows extends supported Galaxy smartphone experiences to the PC.
For wired connectivity, the Galaxy Book6 has two USB Type-C ports with the same functionality, along with USB Type-A, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Samsung says the laptop undergoes durability and quality testing and supports Samsung Care+ for accidental damage, repairs, and replacements.
