Nokia Lumia 800 and 710 Windows Phone devices coming in mid-December to India

Nokia and Microsoft has unveiled the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710, Nokia’s first Window Phone devices in India. Both the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 were unveiled at the Nokia World 2011 in London. The Nokia Lumia 800 has a unibody design and comes with a 3.7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack AMOLED display. The Nokia Lumia 700 comes with a 3.7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) ClearBlack TFT display. Both these devices are powered by 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Scorpion CPU and runs on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) OS. Motorola Defy+ Launched In India For Rs.17,990

Motorola officially launched the much-awaited Motorola Defy+ smartphone in India. This handset is the successor of the popular Motorola Defy smartphone. Motorola Defy+ comes with a price-tag of Rs.17,990 in India.

Back in August, Motorola announced the new Motorola Defy+ smartphone. This handset is the successor of the popular Motorola Defy smartphone. The Motorola Defy+ is a water resistant, scratch resistant and dust proof smartphone. Last week, we posted that, Flipkart, a popular online retailer is already selling this handset in India. Nokia Asha Phones

Back at Nokia World last month , the company launched the Asha range of phones which means hope in Hindi. The company is calling it an ‘aspirational’ range of phones for the next billion. 4 new phones were launched under this banner – 200 , 201 , 300 and 303 . 3 of these phones will be shipping in 2011 and 1 in early next year. Looks like Nokia is trying to make a comeback in the low-end category which is now dominated by the likes of Micromax, Karbonn, Spice and similar vendors.

Aircel launching the iPhone 4S in India on Nov 25th

Aircel has now announced a date for it’s iPhone 4S launch. The operator just shared on it’s Facebook page that it is launching the iPhone 4S in India on Nov 25th. Yesterday Aircel and Airtel announced they are launching the iPhone 4S in India soon.

We guess Aircel (and Airtel) might announce their pricing ( and weird money back plans ) on the 25th. We don’t have any details about the pricing but should have some info soon. The iPhone 4S packs a Dual Core CPU , 8MP Camera with Full HD video recording and the interesting virtual assistant Siri. Looks wise its almost same as the previous iPhone – the iPhone 4. The device runs on iOS 5 which is the latest operating system for iPhone , iPad and iPod touch.

Adobe Flash Player v11.1 and AIR 3.1 for Android brings performance improvements and bug fixes

Adobe Flash Player for Android has been updated to version 11.1.102.59 and the Adobe AIR gets updated to version 3.1.0.488 that brings performance improvements and bug fixes related to security and stability. Adobe announced earlier this week that they would stop the Flash Player development for the mobile phones and tablets. This might be the last update for the Android with the improvements and security bug fixes. The earlier versions of the Flash Player and AIR  brought 3D game support, premium video content with protection and more. World’s First Angry Birds Store opens in Finland at 11:11 AM on 11.11.11

Rovio  , the company behind the hugely popular Angry Birds game series has opened the World’s First Angry Birds Store in Helsinki, Finland. Rovio is a Finnish company and it makes sense for them to open the store in their home turf. The store features Angry Birds accessories including birds and pigs found in the game and also life-size slingshots that makes interesting noises found in the actual game itself. You can also buy shirts, plush toys, bags. The store is located within a 20,000 square meter megastore called Verkkokauppa.com in Helsinki, Finland. The doors of the store were opened at 11:11 AM yesterday where we had the fancy 11.11.11 date.

Unlocked Apple iPhone 4S now shipping from Apple Store in the US

When Apple launched the Apple iPhone 4S last month , it also announced it’s plans to sell factory unlocked versions in November which could be purchased without the need for a contract. Today , the Apple Store in the US is taking orders for the Unlocked iPhone 4S which starts at US$ 649 for the 16GB , $749 for the 32GB and $849 for the 64GB. Just a reminder that most states in the US charge a sales tax so the final price at the time of check out might be  slightly higher. Airtel launching iPhone 4S in India soon

Like Aircel , Airtel India has also announced on it’s Facebook page about it’s plans to launch the Apple iPhone 4S in India soon. As of now only Airtel and Aircel are the official operators authorized by Apple to sell the iPhone 4 in India. So this news is not very surprising. But then for those of you who have been waiting for the iPhone 4S to launch in India, good news ! We are not sure if Apple will get the pricing right though !

Aircel India just announced on it’s official Facebook page earlier today that it is bringing the Apple iPhone 4S to India soon. The company would be sharing more details about the launch soon. There are no details about the pricing or the plans but expect it to be similar to the iPhone 4 Pricing with a slight premium. The price of Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S has been revealed for India. The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S is the sucessor of the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc and it is powered by a 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).  It comes with a 4.2-inch Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine and 8 MP auto focus camera with Exmor R image sensor, LED flash and 720p HD video recording. Motorola RAZR Price Revealed for India


Motorola RAZR gets a price tag in India. Online retailer Flipkart has listed the phone with a price but these is no exact launch date. The Motorola RAZR is the thinnest smartphone till date with 7.1 mm thickness, which is about 1.5mm slimmer than the previous slimmest smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S2. It it is made with KEVLAR fiber and features 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) Super AMOLED hyper-vibrant display and it is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor. It runs on Android Gingerbread 2.3.5. Samsung Illusion for Verizon leaked specs emerge

The detailed specs of Samsung Illusion has leaked out from the Verizon Infocenter and the guys from the androidcentral has got hold of the specs page. This is expected to be entry-level handset that looks like Nexus S with the capacitive touch buttons, rounded edges and a textured back, but comes with a SD card slot and Samsung TouchWiz UI.
