The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced that all Telecom service providers should publish their Tariff Plan details regularly to let the customers know about the changes. They should also publish the tariff details in at least one Newspaper of regional language and one English newspaper at an interval not more than 6 months. ACE in white looks quite stunning. Now its preloaded with Android 2.3.5 which provides performance boost to the ACE. It is quite smooth and snappy out of the box compared to Android 2.2 (Froyo). Other that the software it is similar to the black version of the Galaxy Ace The current MOP of ACE White edition is Rs. 14500/- in Mumbai, India.

BSNL launches Trust Card in partnership with Itz cash card
BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.), in partnership with Itz Cash Card Ltd., has launched TRUST Card, a co-branded multi service prepaid card in India as they announced last year. This is a semi-closed card that would let the card holders pay postpaid bill, prepaid top ups and other utility bills easily. Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman launched in India with offers for Aircel customers
Sony Ericsson has launched the Live with Walkman in India. This is the successor of the Walkman W8 and Mix Walkman and features dedicated Walkman hardware button and it also comes with . It has 3.2-inch (320 x 480 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Motorola DEFY MINI up for pre-order in UK for £174.99
Motorola announced the DEFY MINI, rugged Android phone earlier this month. Clove UK has announced that it is available for pre-order and would ship at the end of February or early March. The DEFY MINI is Dustproof and water-resistant and has 3.2-inch touchscreen Corning GorillaGlass display, 600MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Nokia, Airtel still rank as top trusted brands in India
Nokia has been voted as India’s Most Trusted Brand again and retains their first position from the last year according to a recent survey conducted by research firm Trust Research Advisory (TRA). In the telecom sector, Airtel leads by retaining the same 9th spot as last year. The Brand Trust Report, India Study, 2012 (BTR 2012) has listed India’s 1000 Most Trusted Brands and this research was conducted among 2718 ‘influencer’ respondents across 15 cities. LG has announced their first LTE tablet, LG Optimus Pad LTE that features a 8.9-inch ( 1280 x 768 pixels) True HD IPS in Korea. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Qualcomm dual-core / dual channel processor and runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb). It has 8MP camera with Full HD video recording, flash and BIS sensor, 2MP front facing camera. It is 9.34mm thick and weighs 479g. Recently we were invited for a HUAWEI Blogger’s Meet in Mumbai and were shown 3 recently launched HUAWEI Android devices. Here are the hands-on photos of IDEOS X3.
HUAWEI IDEOS X3 is another entry level 3G Android Gingerbread device launched in India for Rs. 9990/- (MOP). It has 3.2” TFT LCD HVGA display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 SOC (System on Chip) running at 600MHz. IDEOS X3 has a 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. This device is actually unique as even it is a entry level Android smartphone, X3 has a premium design with curved body and nice soft touch matt plastic covering all back side of the device. Overall the device feels quite solid in hand. The X3 has VGA FFC (Front Facing Camera) for Internet Video Calls. The display is quite bright and due to its size (3.2”) and HVGA resolution it was quite sharp for our eyes. The X3 has 3.2MP Fixed Focus main camera without LED Flash. MTNL Mumbai launches BlackBerry Prepaid Plans
MTNL Mumbai has launched BlackBerry services for it’s Prepaid Customers. Earlier these plans were available on postpaid.There is a BlackBerry BIS Lite plan which offers unlimited email and BBM for Rs.251 per month. Motorola has launched the JCB Edition of the DEFY+, rugged Android phone. They announced the DEFY+ last August and launched last September. This JDB edition has visco-elastic protective sleeve from JCB that are capable to withstand extremely demanding conditions and rugged outdoors. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S2 with WiMAX support for KDDI au in Japan. They have already launched the LTE version in Korea and USA. This CDMA phone comes with a 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It is about 9.5mm thick and weighs 139g. BlackBerry Bold 9790 is now on sale in UK. It was expected to be available at the end of this week but it is now available earlier says Clove, online retailer in UK.
