Google Maps for iOS got updated to version 4.7 last month that brought option to send direction from Google Maps desktop to iOS devices. Google Maps for Android now has this feature in the latest update (v9.11.0), as noted by Android Police. It has a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OGS Super AMOLED display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with nubia UI 3.0. It has 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 78-degree wide-angle lens with NeoVision 5.1 Camera UI.

Xiaomi has posted a teaser for the launch of a new product on July 16th on weibo. This just shows PK with a slim metal frame of a product placed in the middle. Xiaomi could unveil the Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus smartphone since the company introduced the Mi 4 in July last year. We can also expect the Redmi Note 2. The long frame in the teaser also hints at a new Mi Pad tablet, but Xiaomi could also surprise us with a new product. Xolo just launched its first smartphone under BLACK sub-brand. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by a 2nd-gen Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HIVE Atlas UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for depth mapping that lets you click the image first and adjust the focus later. Xolo is calling this UbiFocus. It can focus in 0.15 seconds and the ChromaFlash lets you retain original color and skin tone even in low-lighting conditions, says the company. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.

Xiaomi ‘Libra’ with Snapdragon 808, Android 5.1 surfaces in benchmarks

A new smartphone from Xiaomi codenamed Libra has surfaced on Geekbench. This reveals it will be powered by an Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 SoC (MSM8992) clocked at 1.44GHz and run on Android 5.1.1-based MI UI. It also reveals 2GB RAM, so this might not be a high-end smartphone, and might not be the flagship Mi 5 as rumored earlier.
