The OnePlus 2 is coming and it looks like the company is really aiming to hit it out of the ballpark when it comes to specifications. Carl Pei and the team at OnePlus took to Reddit as part of an AMA session ahead of the launch scheduled for 27th July. First spotted by Android Police, WhatsApp Web now lets you change your profile photo by uploading an image, capturing an image and set it as a profile photo if you have a webcam or remove the profile photo. It also offers more control over your chats and groups. Meerkat updated with new cameo feature for viewers

Meerkat 1.5 for iPhone

Meerkat for iOS has been updated to version 1.5 that adds new cameo mode that lets your viewers to take over your stream for 60 seconds. You can tap a viewer’s profile or comment “Cameo @username” to invite someone for a cameo. Both can end the cameo at any time. This update also makes use of Facebook API so that you can connect your Facebook account to Meerkat to receive alerts when one of your friends or pages you follow join.

Google has updated its Messenger app for Android to version 1.4 that brings support for location sharing, stickers, and quick scrolling. The location sharing in attach dialog lets you easily share your location, and the recipient gets a small image of the map with the location and a link to Google Maps.
