A new smartphone from Xiaomi codenamed Libra has surfaced on Geekbench. This reveals it will be powered by an Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 SoC (MSM8992) clocked at 1.44GHz and run on Android 5.1.1-based MI UI. It also reveals 2GB RAM, so this might not be a high-end smartphone, and might not be the flagship Mi 5 as rumored earlier.

Xiaomi Libra leak

According to rumors from China this could be a top-end Xiaomi Mi 4i variant, but we will have to wait for more information to find out the final name. A recent leak revealed specifications of the upcoming Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus smartphones with a Quad HD Screen, Snapdragon 810 and Snapdragon 820 SoCs, respectively.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus even got certified in TENAA earlier this week that confirmed the rumors. Xiaomi is working on multiple devices, but it is not clear when these smartphones will be launched. Even the rumored Redmi Note 2 smartphone is yet to go official.
