HUAWEI’s HONOR brand introduced the HONOR 20 PRO at an event in London back in May, and the phone was launched in India last month at Rs. 39,999, but the company did not reveal the availability. Now the company has announced that the phone will roll out globally starting from Russia at 34990 RUB (US$ 554 / Rs. 38,260 approx.) from 2nd August. PUBG Mobile Lite launched in India for devices with less than 2GB RAM

Tencent games launched the PUBG Mobile lite beta in Philippines back in August last year, earlier this year it expanded to more Asian countries. Today it has launched the mobile game in India officially. It is optimized for low-end smartphone devices since the installation pack is just 400MB and it works on devices with less than 2GB RAM, without compromising the gameplay experience. Sony has introduced RX100 VII compact camera with a new 1.0-type stacked 20.1 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with DRAM chip and latest generation BIONZ X image processor. This combination delivers new levels of autofocus performance and achieves speed breakthroughs that have previously only been seen on the Alpha 9, said the company. It has ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200mmviii F2.8-4.5 high magnification zoom lens.

Apple to acquire majority of Intel’s smartphone modem business in a deal valued at $1 billion

After reports, Apple and Intel have confirmed that Apple will acquire the majority of Intel’s smartphone modem business in a transaction valued at $1 billion. Approximately 2,200 Intel employees will join Apple, along with intellectual property, equipment and leases. Intel closed its 5G modem business in April this year after Apple and Qualcomm announced a settlement and prior to this, Intel became the sole third-party provider of modems of the iPhones launched in 2018. OPPO A5s 4GB RAM variant gets a price cut in India, now available at Rs. 11990

Facebook fined $5 billion by US Federal Trade Commission for privacy violations, brings rigorous new privacy standards

The US Federal Trade Commission has fined Facebook a whopping $US 5 billion for violating a 2012 FTC order on consumers’ privacy. It is is the largest ever imposed on any company for privacy violations and almost 20 times greater than the largest privacy or data security penalty ever imposed worldwide.

HP launches new ZBook 14U, ZBook15U, ZBook 15, Zbook 17 and ZBook Studio X360 laptops in India

HP has launched new models of Z series of mobile workstations in India and the new range includes  ZBook 14U, ZBook15U, ZBook 15, Zbook 17 and ZBook Studio X360. HP says that these laptops are designed for creative and technical professionals, executives and students who demand high-performance computing and premium experiences. The ZBook models were announced at Computex 2019.

Nubia Z20 flagship smartphone to be announced on August 8

ZTE’s nubia brand today announced that it will introduce its flagship Z20 smartphone at an event in China, Beijing on August 8th. The invite doesn’t say anything other than mentioning it as the annual flagship device, and the image shows a camera lens. We don’t know any other details about the successor of last year’s Nubia Z18, but the company recently shared couple of samples shot on the Z20.

Samsung Galaxy Fold will finally roll out starting from September after design and construction improvements

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Fold at its Unpacked event back in February and said that it will go on sale in April. Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G press image surfaces

Samsung is all set to introduce the Galaxy Note10 series on August 7th. Today we have the first image of the Galaxy Note10+ 5G that will head to Verizon Wireless in the US, thanks to @evleaks. This shows triple rear cameras as the Note10 and doesn’t have the additional ToF sensor like the Note10+.
