OnePlus at its 2020 Screen Technology event introduced Quad HD+ OLED ‘Fluid Display’ with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit HDR, as it had promised. At the event it said that it accounted for 77% of the domestic sales of 90Hz refresh rate phones online. OnePlus said that each screen is calibrated at the factory for accurate colors with RGB color temperature sensor with <0.8 Just Noticeable Color Difference (JNCD) rating. Samsung is all set to introduce its Galaxy S20 at its Galaxy Unpacked event next month. We had already seen several renders of the phone, now the first set of live images of the phone have surfaced. This shows the phone’s Infinity-O AMOLED screen, name of the phone on the boot screen and quad rear cameras arranged in a rectangular part which protrudes out of the phone’s glass part. It packs a 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity Display with an enhanced touchscreen able to work in any condition, including rain or snow. Glove mode allows for gloves-on use and the new voice to text message feature provides real-time dictation and messaging for simple, convenient communication. Xiaomi announced the Mi A2 under the Android One program back in July 2018. The smartphone was launched running Android 8.1 (Oreo), and the company updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) in December 2018. Android One devices from other brands such as HMD and Motorola have already received Android 10 update, as per the Android One policy, the Mi A2 is eligible to receive Android 10 update. Walmart-owned Flipkart has launched its first new laptop under its home electronics brand ‘Marq by Flipkart’ called the Falkon Aerbook. The laptop is 13.3-inch, thin and light, Intel powered machine that is designed for everyday use, with a clean design and minimal bezels on the screen.
OnePlus has sent out invites in China for introducing new 2020 screen technology on January 13. The company has not revealed any details about the event. In a secret meeting at CES 2020, Samsung has reportedly named the upcoming successor to the Galaxy Fold as the ‘Galaxy Bloom’. In a report by the website ajunews.com, the Galaxy Bloom will apparently have a design that is inspired by the powder compact of the luxury cosmetics brand Lancome.
For the year 2020, Samsung has updated their split AC line-up including their unique Wind Free AC 2.0, Triple Inverter, Eco Inverter, and On/Off series. Samsung now has over 40 models for its split AC with aesthetic designs and with price ranges that suit any home.
Xiaomi announced the latest iteration of its own proprietary Android skin MIUI, dubbed MIUI 11 along with Mi 9 Pro 5G, Mi MIX Alpha 5G, and Mi AirDots Pro 2 at an event in China at the end of September, and it was roll out to range of devices starting from October.
