Smartfren Telecom Tbk, a popular mobile operator and device maker based in Jakarta has partnered with Cyanogen Inc. to launch the Andromax Q smartphone running on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC, has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Chinese smartphone maker Phicomm has entered India with the launch of Passion 660 smartphone, as it announced last month. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Expect OS 5.0. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is just 7.4mm thick, weighs 110 grams and has unibody premium magnesium alloy build.
