Sony has expanded its BRAVIA Theatre portfolio in India with the launch of the BRAVIA Theatre Trio, Bar 7, Bar 5, Sub 9, Sub 8, Rear 9, and Rear 8. The lineup is designed to deliver an immersive cinematic audio experience at home with support for multi-speaker configurations and spatial audio output.
The range combines Sony’s audio technologies to recreate an expanded soundstage and reproduce the creator’s intended audio experience across supported setups.

BRAVIA Theatre Trio
The BRAVIA Theatre Trio is a flagship wireless home theatre system designed for ultra-large screen televisions. It uses dedicated left, centre, and right speakers instead of a single soundbar, creating a wider soundstage and more precise dialogue reproduction.
It supports Dolby Atmos® and DTS® and integrates with compatible BRAVIA televisions to deliver a cinema-like experience with clarity, depth, and realism across movies, music, and gaming. When paired with Sub 9 and Rear 9, it can create up to 24 phantom speakers.

BRAVIA Theatre Bar 7
The BRAVIA Theatre Bar 7 uses 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology to expand the soundstage using virtual phantom speakers. It includes Sony’s Sound Field Optimization along with Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced support. BRAVIA Connect Ecosystem & Direct Connect
Sony has integrated BRAVIA Connect as a centralized system for setup, control, and management of compatible BRAVIA Theatre products, including subwoofers and rear speakers. It enables app-based configuration, device pairing, and system control across supported BRAVIA devices.
Alongside this, BRAVIA Direct Connect allows compatible BRAVIA televisions to connect directly with subwoofers and rear speakers without requiring a soundbar.

Pricing and Availability
The BRAVIA Theatre Trio will be available from 1 July 2026 across Sony retail stores including Sony Centre and Sony Exclusive stores, as well as Amazon.
The BRAVIA Theatre Bar 7 and BRAVIA Theatre Bar 5 will also be available from the same date across Sony retail stores and leading e-commerce platforms.
