Lenovo has announced that it sold 30,000 units of Lenovo A7000 smartphones in its first flash sale in India on Flipkart today at 2PM. The smartphone was launched in India at an event earlier this month at a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Lenovo has launched the A7000 smartphone in India, as expected. It was unveiled at the MWC 2015 earlier this month, packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor, Android 5.0 (Lollipop), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo just sent out invites for the a launch event on April 7th in India. The invite just shows Dolby Atoms Theater with text Save the Date, 7 April 2015.
