Xiaomi has reduced the price of Redmi Note 4G in India. It was launched in India back in December for Rs. 9,999 and went on sale at the end of December. Today the company has announced Rs. 2000 price cut for the smartphone, which is now available for Rs. 7,999. 16GB and 64GB variants of the Xiaomi Mi 4 received a second price cut recently and are available for Rs. Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 19,999, respectively. Following the successful launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in India, the Chinese manufacturer has begun seeding the new MIUI V6.3.5.0 (KHIMIBL) firmware update to Redmi Note 4G handsets in India and Taiwan. Xiaomi has sold 40,000 units of Redmi Note 4G smartphones in just 6 seconds in today’s (December 30th) sale in India. This is the first time Xiaomi is selling its Redmi Note 4G smartphone, and over 2 lakh people had registered for the sale. The Redmi Note 4G has support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, instead of Octa-Core MediaTek chip in the 3G variant. Xiaomi Redmi Note went on sale in India earlier this month for Rs. 8,999. Xiaomi has announced that Redmi Note 4G will go on sale on Flipkart on December 30th, as it promised at the launch. The Redmi Note 4G has support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, instead of Octa-Core MediaTek chip in the 3G variant.
