A couple of UK retailers just informed us that the white version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus which is currently the world’s only phone to run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich will be available next month in the UK. MobileFun is hinting at a release date of February 2nd and will sell the white device for 519 GBP including VAT.Clove is indicating a release date of 6th February and will sell the device for 498 GBP including VAT.We really like the black version of the device and the white looks equally attractive. Anyone interested in the white version of the Galaxy Nexus ? Specs wise , it should be identical to the black version.

INQ Cloud Q that was expected to launch late 2011 has been cancelled according to a report from Electricpig. INQ launched their first Android phone iNQ Cloud Touch last year via Carphone Warehouse in UK. The INQ Cloud Q that was supposed to come with 2.6-inch touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard and Android 2.2 that was showcased at Mobile World Congress last February. LG unveiled the PRADA 3.0, their 3rd generation PRADA phone in collaboration with LG earlier this month. The PRADA 3.0 is also the first PRADA phone to run on Android. The phone is now available for Korean customers. It features 4.3 inch (800 x 480 pixels) NOVA Plus display with 800-nit brightness. It is powered by 1.0 GHz Dual core processor with Dual Channel architecture and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) that is up-gradable to Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich. Nokia has been crazily promoting it’s Lumia handsets in India under the Amazing Everyday banner and I’m sure none of you might have missed the news (Even my mom knows about it !). Nokia launched the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 in India. Nokia had offered Taxi rides and much more to early adopters and now looks like Samsung is following Nokia’s footsteps with the launch of it’s Omnia W Smartphone in the country. Nokia has started selling the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 in India few days back. Although we did not experience any dramatic problem with battery life on the Lumia 800 , looks like some users are facing battery life issues on the devices. Nokia India has issued a statement to FoneArena to clarify the same. Nokia says that a software problem is preventing some units from accessing the full battery capacity and that a software fix is coming in early 2012 which would address this issues and improve battery life for those units. Also let us know how good or bad the battery life on your Lumia is !

When Nokia announced it’s first Windows Phone at Nokia World couple of months back at London , I seriously did not expect the Nokia Lumia 800 to go on sale in India till 2012. But Nokia India just sold the first set of Lumia 800s to customers who had pre-booked the device at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon near New Delhi last night at 10 p.m. Customers had to pay Rs.29999 for the device.Nokia had roped in Tennis star Sania Mirza to hand over the devices to the customers. The Samsung Galaxy Note has arrived and with it comes the now obligatory unboxing video. But first, a quick recap on what the Galaxy Note is. The Galaxy Note is a super sized phone, or a small tablet – depending on your point of view. Personally I view it more as a phone as, while it is massive, it is a fully functioning phone, and most users will likely use this as their main phone rather than carrying a separate smartphone (and why would you want to?). Add the S-Pen stylus and the 5.3″ Super AMOLED HD (800 x 1280) display with Wacom digitiser to the mix and what you get is a device that replaces not only your smartphone, but also your Moleskine notebook.
The HTC Radar marks the beginning of the next generation Windows Phone 7 devices. The fledgling OS had previously failed to grab much of market share owing to its lack of several basic features including multitasking , copy paste but with Mango onboard , WP7 stands a definite chance to make a dent in the market.

Nokia is making a re-entry into the American market with the Lumia 710 for T-Mobile. Nokia and T-Mobile announced plans to launch it’s first Windows Phone in USA on Jan 11 2012.The Lumia 710 started shipping in several countries last week and now there good news for Nokia fans in USA. The T-Mobile version supports the operator’s 4G network and bear the operator branding below the windows keys.The best part of announcement is the pricing.
