HUAWEI SONIC U8650 Hands-On pictures

Recently we were invited for a HUAWEI Blogger’s Meet in Mumbai and were shown 3 recently launched HUAWEI Android devices. Here are some hands-on photos of the SONIC.

HUAWEI SONIC is an entry level 3G Android phone running Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 with 3.5-inch HVGA LCD display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 SOC (System on Chip) running at 600MHz with 256MB RAM and 512MB ROM. It has 1400mAh Li-ion battery.

We were quite impressed by this device. The 3.5-inch HVGA display is actually quite nice and one of the best we have seen in any entry level Android device. It was quiet sharp despite the HVGA resolution and quite bright. SONIC has full plastic body but its complete matte finish with soft touch gives quite nice feel while handling the device. SONIC has been launched in India and it’s already available in retail market at MOP of Rs. 8,900.

We will review the HUAWEI SONIC soon.
