Samsung Wave 3 Bada 2.0 phone launched in Korea

Samsung has launched their new Wave 3 Bada phone in Korea. It was unveiled at IFA 2011 in September 2011. This phone has 4 inch (800 x 480 pixels) AMOLED touch screen display and runs on the latest Bada 2.0 OS. It is powered by 1.4GHz Processor and comes with 5 MP Auto focus camera with LED Flash, 702p HD video recording and secondary VGA camera. MediaTek MT6575 introduces low – mid range Android platform

Semiconductor manufacturer MediaTek  announced its 3rd generation platform for low – mid range Android devices.  The MT6575 platform offers a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor, a proven 3G/HSPA modem and runs the latest Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

The chipset which will find its way in mid range handsets can decode 720p video streams. Upto 8MP cameras are supported and screen with qHD resolution. In industry-standard benchmark testing, the MT6575 offered over 35% improvement for browser applications and over 20% improvement in graphics capabilities for gaming when compared to other chipsets in the segment offered by competitors.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with 7-inch display and Android 4.0 announced

Samsung has announced Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, successor of 7-inch Galaxy Tab that was launched in 2010. This is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 7-inch (1024×600) PLS TFT LCD display and has 3MP fixed focus rear-facing camera and VGA camera on the front. It is 10.5mm thick and weighs 344g. LG Optimus 3D 2 to be thinner and lighter, expected at MWC 2012

The LG Optimus 3D 2, successor of the first Optimus 3D would be thinner and lighter according to ETNews. The successor would be just 9.8mm thick that is 2mm thinner than the existing Optimus 3D at 11.9mm. It is also said to weigh 20g lesser than its predecessor. The game is now available for free for entire range of Android phones that runs on Android 2.3 and above. Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 (Galaxy Tab 7.7) now available in India for Rs. 33571

Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 also known as Galaxy Tab 7.7 is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart in India. The 7.7-inch tab was announced last September at  at IFA in Berlin and it comes with 7.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus Display and is powered by 1.4GHz Dual Core processor. HTC Sensation phones to get Android 4.0 update starting March 2012, adds more supported devices


HTC has announced that the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update to roll out starting end of March 2012 starting with Sensation devices. The first devices to get the update includes, HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation 4G and HTC Sensation XE, followed by the HTC Sensation XL.
