Microsoft launches Photosynth panorama app for Windows Phone

Microsoft has launched the Photosynth app for Windows Phone devices. The Photosynth app lets you capture and share interactive panoramas in a full sphere, 360 degrees horizontally and vertically. It uses core stitching and blending algorithms developed by Microsoft Research. The app was launched for iPhone last April.

Features of Photosynth for Windows Phone

  • Capture panoramas of the places, people, and events in 360 degrees.
  • Auto saves images to Camera Roll
  • Zoom, pan, and rotate your panorama saved in the library in any direction
  • View featured panorama images from other users worldwide
  • Publish your panorama to the Photosynth site, Bing Maps or share it on Facebook, Twitter or by Email
