So far, we have been expecting the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge from the event but a new promo image indicates that we may see an S7 edge+ also alongside the former two.

We have recently seen the leaked renders and specifications of the upcoming Nubia Z11 smartphone. There were rumours that the device will be announced at an event happening on the 18th of this month. However, new reports suggests that it will be the Nubia Prague S that will be launched and not the Z11.

LG unveiled K10 and K7 smartphones in the new ‘K Series’ ahead of CES 2016 last week. Earlier this week the company launched the K10 smartphone in Korea. Now it has revealed LG K4, the entry-level smartphone in the promotional video of K10 and K7. These new ‘K Series’ smartphones share a similar glossy pebble design language with a curved, modern finish targeted at younger generation. Samsung has finally introduced the Galaxy J1 2016, successor of last year’s Galaxy J1 in Dubai, reports GSMArena. The phone is already on display in Jumbo electronics showroom, who is a retailer in UAE. It packs a 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 4G LTE connectivity and is expected to come with dual SIM support in select markets like India. Micromax has launched Canvas Fantabulet F666, the company’s latest phablet. Micromax is calling it a smartphone since it has 3G support and voice calling capabilities. It has a 6.98-inch HD screen, is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382W processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo has introduced Lemon 3 (K32C36), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Lemon series in China. It packs a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 616 processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own UI on top. Google has just release v9.19 of its Maps application for Android devices and it brings in a host of new features and improvements including a driving mode and audio toggle for navigation among other things.
Back in July 2014 Facebook introduced Mentions, a new app for iOS for celebrities and public figures with verified profiles to talk to their followers. Later it was expanded to India and 40 other countries. Now it has launched the app for Android. The app has Live stream feature so that musicians, athletes, actors, journalists and other celebrities can share live video with their fans. Sundar Pichai just took to the Google+ platform to announce the dates of Google I/O 2016 which is set to take place just 18 weeks from now in California.
Twitter has updated the iOS app to version 6.44 that now lets you watch Periscope broadcasts live, within the tweets. When there is a Tweet with a link for a Periscope broadcast, it will autoplay right within the Tweet. When you tap the video, it goes full-screen and shows Periscope comments and hearts from other viewers. It doesn’t require you to install Periscope app or even a Periscope account to watch the broadcasts on Twitter. Today it has released the first version of Remix OS 2.0, as it had promised. Remix OS is the same Android, which has been tweaked to work on PCs and includes new UI, responds to mouse clicks and even lets you use keyboard shortcuts on your PC or laptop.
