The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are rumored to make an appearance at MWC 2016 taking place in Barcelona or at an event just before it. So far, we have been expecting the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge from the event but a new promo image indicates that we may see an S7 edge+ also alongside the former two.

The S6 edge and S6 did launch together at MWC 2015 but the S6 edge+ made its debut alongside the Note5 later on in September 2015 only. This year, Samsung seems to be planning on introducing all three variants at the same time and leaving the Note6 open for a solo announcement. This could also possibly mean that Samsung will bring back an Edge variant of the Note6 to go along with the regular variant. Last year, people had to choose between a stylus in the form of the Note5 or an edge screen in the form of the S6 edge+ and many were disappointed that the Note5 didn’t provide both.

Regardless of the screen size, all the variants of the S7 are expected to pack in 1440p displays, 4GB of RAM, 12 Megapixel BRITECELL cameras and will be powered either by the Snapdragon 820 or the Exynos processor from Samsung.

The teaser image lists the Galaxy S7, S7 edge and S7 edge+ but doesn’t list the Galaxy S7+ which was also rumored in the past as a larger non-edge screen version of the regular S7. Perhaps that model has been cancelled or perhaps they are marketing it under the S7 moniker itself but as two screen sizes. Whatever it is, we will know for sure in little over a months time.
