Vodafone launches Callertune Share so that you can set you Callertune right from Facebook !

Vodafone has just launched the Callertune Share application for Facebook that enables Vodafone users to set their Callertune and share it with friends.In order to get it working , you have to register your Vodafone mobile number with the application and accept the terms and conditions for the whole thing. Just a friendly reminder that you will be charged for CallerTunes subscription if you use this service. But it surely sounds impressive . Who’s going to give it a try ?

MWC 2011 : Vodafone Gets Galaxy Tab 10.1 Exclusivity

In a major win for Vodafone , the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available exclusively on the Vodafone network in UK. The Galaxy Tab  comes with a 10.1″ display with 1280 x 800 resolution. The tablet computer is powered by a 1Ghz Dual Core processor which makes it one of the most cutting edge tablet computers at the moment. Wifi n support , HSPA+ and Bluetooth 3.0 are also on board.

Palm Pre 2 Up For Pre-Order At Verizon

Palm Pre 2 is currently up for pre-order in the U.S. This handset will be available exclusively on the airwaves of Verizon Wireless. It comes with a price tag of $99.99 with a 2 years contract.

Back in October, HP announced the Palm Pre 2 smartphone. This handset is the successor of Palm Pre and it is the first device which runs on the HP’s latest operating system, the webOS 2.0. Palm Pre 2 is already available in the UK, Canada and Germany, but this handset have not been launched in the US. Finally after waiting for 4 months, this handset is up for pre-order in the U.S. Palm Pre 2 will be available exclusively on the airwaves of Verizon Wireless. T-Mobile reveals more details about Galaxy S 4G and G-Slate

T-Mobile has today announced some details regarding its Android product lineup. Yes, Samsung and LG Android devices are talk of the talk, and T-Mobile has roped partnership with them, and has released Galaxy S 4G which T-Mobile claim’s as fastest smartphone capable to handle peak download speeds of up to 21 Mbps, and the LG G-Slate T-Mobile’s first 4G Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet.

Most of you guys might be pretty familiar with Galaxy S right? Galaxy 4G is just that with a front facing camera. This is T-Mobile’s answer to Verizon. Also T-mobile has bundled mobile HD TV through T-Mobile TV, Warner Bros. Pictures’ Academy Award nominated film INCEPTION, and T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik with this device. Also they are pretty aggressive with their data plans for the Galaxy S 4G. Starting at $10 per month, which is pretty good if you ask me.

Which the LG G-slate was teased at CES this year. This is an Android tablet not just like others, It runs on Android 3.0, 8.9-inch display, features 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, 32GB of internal storage and wait for it… A 3-D camera? Yes, a Stereoscopic video camera which will shoot 3-D videos at 1080p. Supports both 3-D viewing and video capture.  Also has a 2mp front facing camera for video calling on T-Mobiles vast 4G network. They also confirmed their 4G network’s expansion to the South and Midwest regions.

Availability

LG G-Slate’s pricing and availability not confirmed, but somewhere around Spring (March?) is what they say. More at  T-Mobile G-Slate product page.

Motorola Droid BIONIC Listed On Amazon For $149.99

Last month, Motorola launched the Android powered Droid BIONIC smartphone. According to Amazon, this handset will be available for just $149.99 with a 2 years service agreement.

This handset comes with a 4.3-inch qHD display, Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor, 8 megapixel camera and so on. The price of this device was accidentally leaked by Amazon. Airtel Money – Mobile Payment Service launched

Airtel has launched it’s mobile payment service under the Airtel Money banner. The service is initially available in Gurgaon. This is the first time a Mobile Operator has launched such a similar in India.Airtel already inked tieups with several merchants in Gurgaon including coffee shops, restaurants etc. to accept payments.
