The Huawei Ascend Mate was announced way back in January during the CES 2013, but the phablet has been available in India only since June. Samsung’s biggest phablet until the Mega series arrived was their Galaxy Note 2 with a 5.5inch display that we compared with the Ascend Mate recently. Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Review

samsung-galaxy-s4-zoom-review-8

Samsung has been recently having an obsession to provide solutions of convergence in weird form factors. We saw that with the Mega 6.3 and the Galaxy Note 510, both being devices with a certain feature, unknown to that specific form factor, hacked in, and the S4 Zoom falls in that same category. It is basically a Smartphone with a camera slapped on its back, or a point and shoot with a smartphone slapped on its back, you get the idea. Samsung started this trend with the Galaxy Camera, a high end point and shoot running Android, which is basically a connected camera, with 3G. Expectedly, Samsung has taken it further with the S4 Zoom adding phone functionality. Priced at Rs. 29,990, is the S4 Zoom a hack job or is it actually a good enough cameraphone? Lets find out.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Review

Samsung Galaxy S4 Active-1

Samsung’s Galaxy line of phones is arguably the most popular mobile brand on the planet right now, with the Galaxy S4 selling 20 million units worldwide since its launch just a few months ago. Keen to capitalise on the buzz surrounding the iconic name, the Korean company has expanded the portfolio with spin-off devices, including the Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy S4 Active. Does this make it a better choice for prospective purchasers, or is this sporty variant not worth bothering with? Keep reading to find out. Continue reading “Samsung Galaxy S4 Active Review”
