
Cellecor Gadgets Limited, a homegrown consumer electronics company, has entered into a retail partnership with Poorvika Mobiles Pvt. Ltd., South India’s leading multi-brand electronics chain. Poorvika operates over 470 stores across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Puducherry.
Earlier this month, Cellecor announced its expansion strategy in South India with a target of achieving ₹600 crore in annual business.
Partnership impact
- Poorvika reported revenues of ₹3,600 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2024, highlighting its strong market presence.
- The partnership is expected to contribute ₹150 crore annually to Cellecor’s topline.
- This deal strengthens Cellecor’s position in the southern retail market.
Extended retail alliances
Alongside Poorvika, Cellecor has built partnerships with leading South Indian retail chains, including LOT Mobiles, Sonu Vision, BIG C Mobiles, PAI International, B New Mobiles, Happy Mobiles, Sathya Agencies, Sangeetha Mobiles, and Celekt Mobiles. These alliances collectively span thousands of outlets across the region.
Together, these retail collaborations are projected to generate ₹750 crore annually from South India, making the region a significant contributor to Cellecor’s nationwide expansion.
Product portfolio
Cellecor’s product range includes Smart TVs, smartphones, wearables, laptops, home and kitchen appliances, and audio devices. The company is expanding through offline partnerships, exclusive brand stores, and a broadening product lineup. It also aligns with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, focusing on delivering value-driven electronics for domestic consumers.
