An AT&T branded Galaxy Note was already caught at FCC a few days back and this new leaked images are proof that Galaxy Note will be coming to AT&T around next month. Samsung Galaxy Note has received an eco-friendly carbon labeling certification in Korea. It was issued by the KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute) on Dec 27 last year. This carbon labeling certification for the electronics was established in February 2009 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 received such certification in Korea last August. Research In Motion (RIM) might show off their new BlackBerry OS 10 (BBX) at MWC 2012 in February according to a report from pocket-lint. They announced the BBX, their next generation mobile platform at the Developer Conference this October and later changed it to BlackBerry OS 10 at Developer Conference Asia in December due to a ruling by a US District Judge which prevents RIM from using the BBX brand. There were lots of rumors about the BlackBerry OS 10 devices such as BlackBerry London. They were also news that these devices might come with high resolution display, BES and better specs similar to the BlackBerry PlayBook and not look like the BlackBerry Bold. Motorola has announced Motorola DEFY MINI dustproof and water-resistant phone powered by Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has 3.2-inch touchscreen Corning GorillaGlass display, 600MHz processor, 3MP rear-facing camera with flash, VGA front-facing camera for video chat. Nokia India has launched an online store for its range of mobile phones called NokiaShop at nokia.indiatimes.com. The backend seems to be powered by the India Times shopping engine. I would assume the stocks are supplied by the Nokia distribution network as it is a joint venture and authorized by Nokia India. One of the highlights is the possibility to buy phones with Interest Free EMIs spread over 3 or 6 months. There is a Cash on Delivery payment option too for most phones and other payment modes supported are Net Banking,Credit Card and Debit Card.

A couple of UK retailers just informed us that the white version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus which is currently the world’s only phone to run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich will be available next month in the UK. MobileFun is hinting at a release date of February 2nd and will sell the white device for 519 GBP including VAT.Clove is indicating a release date of 6th February and will sell the device for 498 GBP including VAT.We really like the black version of the device and the white looks equally attractive. Anyone interested in the white version of the Galaxy Nexus ? Specs wise , it should be identical to the black version.

Sony Ericsson has launched a barometric sensor app for the Xperia active and also a new code example so that developers can access this sensor in apps by accessing it through the Android sensor API. This app would let the Xperia Active users measure altitude differences and vertical speed. They already provided instructions and codes on how to create a simple app that could read data from the pressure sensor.
