Samsung Galaxy Note gets eco-friendly carbon labeling certification in Korea

Samsung Galaxy Note has received an eco-friendly carbon labeling certification in Korea. It was issued by the KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute) on Dec 27 last year. This carbon labeling certification for the electronics was established in February 2009 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 received such certification in Korea last August.

The carbon labeling scheme is a system to check greenhouse gas emissions of a product in the whole process from development and production through distribution, usage to disposal in a bid to promote a low-carbon environment. Samsung Galaxy Note doesn’t use any anti-environmental chemical materials like Halogen flame retardant, beryllium, PVC.

Samsung said that they would continue to comply with environment-friendly policies and will continue to develop low-carbon, eco-friendly products.
