The HTC One X and the HTC One V in the HTC One series is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. The HTC One X comes with 4.7-inch Super LCD HD display , 1.5 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-Core processor, 8MP camera with Full HD (1080p) video recording and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, NFC . The HTC One V comes with 3.7-inch display and is powered by 1 GHz processor. It has 5MP camera with auto focus, smart LED flash, and BSI sensor and 720p HD video recording. Sony delays Android 4.0 ICS update for Xperia smartphones, to roll out starting mid-April


Sony announced that they would roll out Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for 2011 Xperia devices starting March end , but the update is now delayed and is being pushed to mid-April. The first phones to get the update would be Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray as they announced previously, that would be available in mid-April and continue over 4 to 6 weeks to reach globally. HTC One X gets unboxed in France

While most are waiting to get their hands on the HTC One X smartphone, folks at htc-hub.com in France has posted the unboxing video of the Quad-core Android smartphone in the HTC One series that was announced at MWC 2012. The box is small and cute and it has 1800 mAh sealed battery and has Micro SIM card slot on the top. The phone has Beats audio support but it comes with normal headphones unlike the exclusive edition announced for Taiwan. Check out the unboxing video below. Sony releases Android 4.0 beta ROM for Xperia PLAY

Sony Mobile has released  Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) beta ROM for unlocked Xperia PLAY smartphones. They released ICS beta ROM for Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and Xperia ray last month. They have also announced they work close with several game partners to optimize the games to run on the latest Android 4.0 software. Android 4.0.4 update starts rolling out for Nexus S and HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus

Google has announced on their Android Google+ page that they have started rolling out Android 4.0.4 update for UMTS / GSM Nexus S (I9020), HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus (I9250) and Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi in select regions.
