Samsung Galaxy S getting ICS-like ‘value pack’ update in Korea

Samsung has started rolling out new value pack update for Samsung Galaxy S smartphones in Korea as they announced earlier this month in the ICS update news. The so-called Value Pack leaked after the announcement last year.

This upgrade would bring Ice Cream Sandwich features such as Face Unlock with blinking for added security, ability to take pictures while shooting video, Photo Editor, Beta Font for font size control, S Go Launcher Pro that lets users to change main screen and the icons

The Gingerbread firmware update is available in South Korea for Samsung Galaxy S (including Galaxy K and Galaxy U) via Samsung Kies 2.0 software. There are no details when the update would be available globally.
