Sony had been teasing their upcoming flagship smartphone codenamed Honami, now the company has released the official teaser video of the phone. Micromax launched the A111 Canvas Doodle, the first Micromax phone with a large 5.3-inch display back in May. It is also the first Micromax phone to be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8625Q processor. Samsung has announced the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, a variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 that was announced earlier this year. It has a 7-inch (1024×600) TFT LCD display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3-megapixel fixed focus rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes only in Wi-Fi variant with 8GB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot. Much has been said about the Nokia Lumia 1020 and its amazing camera prowess, but what made it fun was using the camera interface. Yes, the interface, also known as the Nokia Pro Cam, provided the much needed control and versatility for the robust camera hardware that Nokia packed in the Lumia 1020. But the other PureView devices are no exception either and Nokia made sure that 920, 925 and 928 users get the Pro Cam, and eventually they did. We immediately installed it onto the Nokia Lumia 925 and found it to work really well, just like how we found it on the Lumia 1020 earlier. Samsung is undoubtedly one of the front runners of the Android race while Lenovo are catching up with them fast. Samsung has been looking to expand its Galaxy portfolio and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a result of company’s interest in the 6inch+ category while the Lenovo K900 is Lenovo’s current flagship powered by an Intel processor.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 was launched at the end of May in Indian while the Lenovo K900 has been available since June although it had been announced way back in January earlier this year. Despite being different devices of different capabilities, they are priced almost similarly and lets check out which of the two performs better.

Samsung had already sent out press invite for the Unpacked 2013 Episode 2, where the company is expected to unveil the new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 3. Samsung trademarked the Galaxy Gear name earlier this month, which confirmed the existence of the smartwatch. LG released a teaser video for its upcoming LG G Pad 8.3 tablet. Though the video had little to do with the tablet, it was about various people talking what they use their tablet for and what would make them use it more. The theme of the teaser goes by “What would make a tablet just right for you?”. The new LG G Pad is expected to be announced at the IFA in early September.

We’ve previously brought you details and leaked images of Nokia’s Windows RT tablet. Following a spate of reports published today, the tablet is all but confirmed. As expected, the tablet will follow the same design language as seen on the Finnish company’s Lumia range of devices. The device will run on a Snapdragon 800 processor and will be equipped with a 1080p display that is expected to have the ClearBlack technology as seen on its phones.
