Xolo has finally released the beta version of the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Q3000 smartphone. It promised to offer KitKat update for  Q700S, Q1010i, Q1010 and Q3000 smartphones by June. Sony working on selfie centered smartphone or a compact camera?

Sony released Xperia C3, a selfie focused smartphone with 5MP camera in July. Today two different reports are suggesting that the company is making a selfie centered smartphone or a compact camera.

Firstly, digi-wo has posted a bunch of photos of the Sony device that has a camera situated at the top of the phone in the center. According to the photos, it will have a swivel camera that we have already seen on Oppo N1 and Gionee Elife E7 mini. The camera lens is encompassed in a transparent rectangular case over the top of the phone.

HTC has just announced the rumored HTC One (M8) for Windows smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1.1 with Cortana.  It has exactly the same design and specifications as the HTC One (M8), including a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Duo camera setup with a primary UltraPixel camera, secondary rear camera to capture depth information and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens.

Asus IFA 2014 teaser hints at its first Android Wear Smartwatch

Update: New teaser from Asus, confirms that it’s going launch their smartwatch at IFA. Scribbled writings in the image reveals that it would have a stainless steel frame, polish as mirrors and sexy curves.

Asus has started teasing its upcoming announcement at the IFA 2014, slated for September 3rd. The first teaser shows a device with curved edges along with the quote “Time has been transformed, and we have changed” by Khalil Gibran that hints at its first Android Wear smartwatch. Samsung and Microsoft reportedly discussing settlement over patent dispute

Earlier this month Microsoft filed a patent lawsuit against Samsung over royalty payments. Now according to a recent report from Korea Times, both the companies are apparently in talks to come to an agreement that would out an end to the lawsuit.
