Micromax launched the Unite 3 smartphone last month. We brought the unboxing of the smartphone recently, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 GPU, packs 1GB of RAM and has a 4.7-inch WVGA display, similar to the Unite 2, but this runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box. Samsung might not launch an Edge variant with the Galaxy Note 5 this year

Samsung normally unveil the latest Galaxy Note smartphone every year at IFA in Berlin and last year along with the Note 4, they also launched the Note Edge. The Edge formula has been a success for Samsung which they even followed up with the S6 and S6 Edge. However new reports state that Samsung won’t be announcing an Edge variant of the Note 5 when it launches this year.

Apple said to be working on iPhone without the home button

It looks like Apple is planning to remove the home button from the next iPhone. A report from DigiTimes is stating that the company is working on a new iPhone design that would get rid of the physical home button.

The iPhone currently uses a physical home button that acts a menu button and also acts as a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The company says it is developing a new in-house touch and display driver integration (TDDI) single-chip solution for the iPhone.
