Part of the appeal of a smartwatch is the endless customization capabilities on offer. The Android Wear platform in particular has really picked up pace with over 1500 different watch faces on offer. Today, Google announced the addition of 17 new watch faces to the Play Store.
The 17 new watch faces include something that should appeal to all kinds of tastes. Of note is that Google has tied up with a number of brands and pop culture icons to bring branded watch faces to the platform. From Japanese retail firm Muji, Hello Kitty to an Angry Birds inspired watch face, there’s something here for everyone.
