A few days back, when the world was buzzing all about the impending launch of the Nokia N8, we received a small package from LG – India, in it, a phone (of course a phone silly! you don’t expect a microwave oven review here!), the GT540 also known as the Optimus. T-Mobile getting HTC Desire HD, Nokia C7, and LG Optimus One

T-Mobile UK is one of the largest and strongest carriers in UK, and the reason is that they always pick good and new phone. T-Mobile UK has picked up three phones, the new, just announced HTC Desire HD, Nokia C7, and the LG Optimus One. All of them are announced this week.

HTC Desire HD is one of the hottest handset at the moment, and lot of carriers are looking forward to it specially in UK. The first carrier to officially announce the HTC Desire HD is T-Mobile UK. Desire HD comes with Android 2.2 with HTC Sense UI, 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen display, 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 8MP autofocus camera, HD video recording, and lot of other stuff. The phone is due in October.

T-Mobile will get the “Navigation Edition” of LG Optimus One, which means it will come with a free satellite navigation with Google Maps, car cradle, and in-car charger. Other specs include Android 2.2, 3.2 inch HVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, 3.2MP camera, and MicroSD card support. The phone is due in October.

Now the C7, which is launched by Nokia during the Nokia world event, is a Symbian^3 powered phone and it comes with 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 8 MP camera, HD Video recording and playback, and 8GB internal memory. The C7 is due in November. As a reminder, the Nokia N8 is also coming to T-Mobile UK in October.

Telus launches the LG Shine+

Canadian carrier Telus is now offering a new Android device by LG, the LG Shine+. LG Shine+ is an Android powered device with some good features in it. The phone comes with Android 2.1, 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800, a Slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash and video capabilities, Wi-Fi, GPS, holds up to 16GB with a microSD card.

You can get the phone for $69.99 CDR with a 3-year contract, or for $199.99 with a 2-year contract and for $249.99 with only 1-year contract. Or you can get the unlocked version for $299.99, and what I think is that it’s not a bad price for a phone with a bundle of good specs.
