LG Optimus Black

LG announced the Optimus Black at CES 2011 and we had a chance to play with this device at MWC 2011. The most interesting feature of the Optimus Black is the 4 inch NOVA display with a brightness of 700 nits making it one of the brightest mobile displays. The device is also incredibly thin at 9.2 mm and just 6.0 mm at one point. It also features WiFi Direct which means that you can transfer content with other WiFi Direct devices without the need of a wireless access point.

DoCoMo announces MEDIAS N-04C , XPERIA ARC , Optimus Pad for Japan

Android invasion in Japan : NTT DoCoMo announces 3 new Android devices for Japan including 2 smartphones and a tablet. The devices announced include MEDIAS N-04C and Xperia ARC SO-01C smartphones and Optimus Pad L-06C. All of these devices will go on sale this March in Japan.

Gesture UI Key on the LG Optimus Black Demo !

The LG Optimus Black has a really cool feature called the Gesture UI key which lets you zoom into photos ,pan around a photo(press and tilt), launch the camera app (press and shake the phone), scroll through homescreens and more.
